Dive Sites around Camiguin Camiguin Island is an awesome spot for diving. In addition to that there are many dive sites incredibly close to for the vacationer beaches, every dive site presents a complete different environment under water.
When White Island presents an enormous forest of black coral with strong currents, it is possible to get pleasure from a Maledives like Coral Reef at Jigdub Reef or Mantigue Isle. Plenty of colorful corals and fish everywhere. When it comes to the big types, people might see turtles on each and every second dive or so and Walesharks or Manta Rays on the right time of the year.
There are at least 20 or so great dive sites around Camiguin Island, the following is a list from the most amazing ones, which are also reachable within 10 to 45 minutes. A few minutes by fishing boat coming from the tourist resorts at Agoho or Yumbing seashore :
* White Island: Only 10 moments by boat from Agoho or Yumbing seaside. Stong existing many of the moment and lovely forest of "Black Coral".
* Old Volcano: Magnificent dive site using a canyon to dive trough. Fields with sand eels. Only about 20 minutes by vessel out of Agoho.
* Sunken Cementery: Simply a name, you can find no graves or buildings to become observed under water. But it is a wonderful reef with plenty of gentle coral and very frequently you will see turtles right here. 30 min by motorboat.
* Tangup Hot Springs:Great reef with gentle coral along side sea-coast line of Camiguin. 15 to 20 min by boat.
* Tangup Bay:The spot for beginners: Wonderful reef with hard and gentle coral and some great rock formations in depths of 10 meters. 15 to 20 moments by boat.
* Jigdub Reef: beneath drinking water reef, about 45 minute by vessel coming from Agoho Seashore. Beautiful drop off on 1 side and slope with strong current on the other site. About 40 to 50 minutes by boat.
* Mantigue Island: Mantigue Island can be Maledives like island and surrounded by a good "drop off" reef. Takes 45 to 55 min to get there. |
