I have no Idea what forced me to go to Boracay for a few days, but it was a nightmare. The beach was great (at least the bit which was still visible, due to thousands of asian tourists).
I arrived with my HoneyKo at station 3 and we were picked up by the daughter of our land-lady. I contacted her in advanced and for 1.500 Peso we had a cottage a bit back, but nice w/fan and moskitonet.
Next morning we had a nice breakfast prepared by Cyntia, the good soul of the place. After that we went to the beach. Got surrounded by vendors and Koreans. We couldn't figure out what was worse.
After an hour or so we decided to look for a hotel-pool. We found one but needed to pay 350 peso "entrance Fee" 200 of them consumable. It was a nice poolare, but not allowed to bring any drinks inside the Hotel are that we needed to pay 50 !!! peso for a small bottle of water

.
With this prices it was clear for us that we went out for lunch and dinner.
We did the same for two days, just interrupted with one dive. I still don't know why we did the dive, but it must be the most boring divespot in the Philippines.
When we left Boracay, HoneyKo was sad and I was totally Happy to go. I will never understand why Philippinas love that Island. there is nothing to do, nothing to see, and I saw better beaches in the Philippines. Same white but not overcrowded and overpriced.
At least she was happy...
