Default Scuba Diving and Traveling in the Philippines

This part of the Forum is dedicated to all general traveling and scuba diving issues in the Philippines.

Traveling around the 7107 Islands is very easy. Plenty of small domestic Airports in all parts of the archipelago makes it easy to reach your final destination.
Sea ports fast ferries and local small Bankas can help you to get even to remote destinations. If you use domestic flights be aware of the weight of your luggage. Some of the small airlines allow only 15 kg. on the other hand you pay for one kg extra around 20 PHP. As most domestic flights (if booked in advanced are quite cheap some dollar extra should not be the biggest issue.
share your experience with the other members...

Best Regards and Merry Christmas

Rhoody

Thumbs up Hello I am new here

Hello,

I just discovered this side when surfing the net. I like it it is well done and easy to navigate.
But you have to work on the english section as it is quite small at the moment. I was on a scuba-vacation to the Philippines in 05 and 07. I love the diving there. As we don't have that much vacation, the time there was always too short. If you put up some more english information I am sure yo will have big success in the non German market with the site.

All the best

Deep Blue

Hello deep blue and welcome to philippinen-tauchen.
I was absent a few month and also like the page a lot for the neutral information.
I just hope that Rhoody continues with new information, seems not a lot of new stuff going on.

regards

TT

Hello Deep Blue,

also Welcome from a German User of the Board. Unfortunatly I am still in Germany, but in a few years I will move to the Philippines to the Village of my Wife in Mindanao.

I hope You like this Place here as much as I do, because Rhoody is doing a good Job in maintaining and running this Site.

Chris

Hello deep blue,

welcome to philippinen-tauchen. I can agree to Chris, I hope Rhoody keeps up with the good work. I joined one of his other info-sides about Dumaguete. That guy should be a promotion manager, I guess I know where I go next.

Anyway have fun

Rolf
