 Dive shop in Leyte hi everyone  i just have some questions in this site that maybe some PT members can give me answers..or more informations... since i'm so long time away from Tacloban Leyte.. the city and province i'm from.. i just want to know if there's diveshops in Tacloban or near Tacloban city.. i just want to know some dive shops in Leyte... i know some resorts in near Tacloban but im not sure if there's diveshops in those resorts. what are names of those dive shop??  around Leyte, is there's dive shop too??? what the names of those dive shops if it has?? its so long time that i dont visit my province.. i miss it, i miss where i'm from. as a diver i wonder if there's a dive shop in my province.. LEYTE... Region 8. as what i see here in Philippinen-Tauchen (PT).is informations about... Poerto Galera, Moalboal, Dumaguete, Apo Island, Tubbataha Riff, Coron, Palawan, Bohol, Cebu, Anilao and Subic bay.... how about Leyte???is there a Dive shops there? in Tacloban??? more confused because i dont understand it in german.. i iwsh its has also English descriptions about all those place named,, he he he,,, realy maldita he he he... | Leyte seems like the owner of this page is a bit sleepy... Leyte in particular southern Leyte has some great beaches and diving. A dream for a few days, very peacful and laid back. perfect for a few days with your honey Ko to relax with some dives and something in between Gary |

| I need to apologise, and serious, I have NO idea why I never thought of Leyte. I will make aresearch and make up a side. sorry 1000 times. By the way Maldita, learning german is VERY easy. The pornounciation is almost like Tagalog and there are fantastic english german courses on CD available. Sorry again Rhoody |

its ok that you reply me late, i just wish that next time we have more information's about diving and also diving in Leyte... and even in Tacloban city if they have it there too. about the german language its nice that there a CD can teach me how to speak german.. but for sure its nice that there's a person can correct me if i pronounce it properly, or not.... not only buy listening on that CD if i have it... but again thanks for the informations you give... about that kind of teacher CD german language he!!he!!he!! i will look for that CD...  that next time i will print some article from here and understand it by my self still Maldita |

The only one I heard about diving related is in Southern Leyte - I searched long time for a dive center for my girlfriend, who lives in Tacloban and made her OWD in January. This might mean nothing, since smaller shops / centers might not be present in internet - but she had a look around by herself and couldn't discover some so far. On the other hand I once encountered a link to the Leyte Park Hotel and within this, the offer to dive - but can't find the link anymore. Will be at this hotel end of september before we'll go to Boracay again, so I can tell more after my stay if you like. Regarding the german language course on CD or online - this seems to be a good resource. Even when the website looks somehow outdated ;-) Will go for the CD soon for my girlffriend. | hi Joerg, thanks for giving info,,, and link, .... and sorry for late reply i just so busy at the past few days... actually Joerg im just only confused if theres a divi shop in Tacloban city or near Tacloban,,, like in San Jose Leyte Park, i just heard that there's 1 there... but 1 of my cousin give me info.. about this its not exciting anymore... only the resorts the hotel is going on business.... now its clear to me that in Leyte... south of only has diving shops and center i can get some quality equipment for diving.... but like always im in budget so i have to look first if... i can go there to try the beach and the sites for Diving.. but i cant say when is my opportunity.. Again thanks for the links... please keep me updated about for more info you can get just in case you have visited Tacloban again.... Still Maldita.... |

Especially small BCDs (guess you need S or even XS) and maybe a reg with smaller mouthpice (like some Mares) will hard to get. Best chances beside Manila and Cebu would be at destination where a lot of dive centers around, like Boracay and how I guess on Bohol and other known dive destinations. I would suggest to look around whereever you are and fetch what is avaiable, a mask and fins here, a wetsuite or BCD there.

| hi everybody again... Thanks for your advices Joel.. Yes im so small thats so hard to fine BDC for me,, and its Sad that there is no grarantee Dive Shop in my Home Town... but i still wish that i have a chance to had a dives in southerd Leyte... at the moment I'm in Negros Oreintal... even a lot of dive sites here and Apo Island is just there if i have chance to dive again..., but untill now i dont have chance to do it... busy.. busy.. busy. again to all of you there thanks for answering me.. and giving advise and info... ..Maldita |
