Negros Tourism - Bais Bay BAIS BAY – a segment of Tanon Strait where tourists take a cruise to watch the dolphins; pygmy sperm whales are occasionally sighted, their concentration here is believed to be among the highest in the world.
A tour package includes a boardwalk trek through Talabong Island, alow mangrove island of about 300 hectares, to observe marine and other wildlife.
According to Asian Wetland Bureau, this is Negros Oriental’ last remaining important mangrove wetland. As a side trip, the tour package takes visitors finally to the Sand Bar, a strip of beach which vanished at high tide. |
