TWIN LAKES, BALINSASAYAO and DANAO – two adjoining lakes separated by a verdant mountain ridge and completely surrounded by forest, also almost undisturbed.

Balinsasayao is 76.25 hectares in surface area, Danao is 30 hectares, its water level 16.04 inches higher than its bigger twin.

The estimated combined capacity of these natural reservoirs is 77,600,000 cubic meters without visible outlets; average altitude is 1,040 meters above sea level; difficult access, either through Sibulan or San Jose town routes, but visitors find the profound serenity and unspoiled nature rewarding.
