Hi Paula,

Public Markets are realy a Place in the Philippines where You can feel the True Filipino Spirit. Fish, Beef and all the other regular needs of the Pinoy People can be seen there.

On my first Visit to the Philippines in 1997 when I visit my Pen Pal (now my Wife) she left me in a small Bar so I can have a San Miguel Beer (or 2) and guess what happened when I walked around a bit. Coming around a corner I saw a white Male and he saw me too and he was from a Village only 30 Kilometers away from my Hometown. So I flew 8600 miles to meet another German on a Public Market there in the Philippines.

Maybe this or something else can also happen to You too. I wish You a Pleasant Journey and may You have a Fantastic time there.

I guess it's hard to avoid meeting germans. they are everywhere. specially in countries under development as their organisation skills are unique and they can run a place without infrastructure around just with their talent to schedule and organize
